My husband was a member of this credit union until the day he passed, June 9, 2019. Shortly after he passed my 5 children and I went to the credit union and spoke with the Branch Manager at the 69th street location to discuss our finances. We had several accounts. We were told that we had one insured loan, savings, checking, 2 additional savings (grandchildren) and a credit card account. They never answer their calls which is sad because my account has been breeched and live too far to settle it in person. It’s ridiculous.
This place is out of date, and ran by a bunch of 2nd rate employees. I had a loan for 2 years they never changed the lien to their name. It made my refinance a absolute nightmare. No matter who you talked to at the bank they couldn't help you. Try and get ahold of people and even though you are first in line you wait 10 minutes just to get a machine and no return phone call. There is a reason this place is rated so poorly.
I have been a member with this Credit Union from the time I was 12 and now I'm in my 40s. I am changing banks due to the fact I never get to talk you anyone (leave a voicemail and no one calls back) the phone system is missed up, inhale been on hold for 20 minutes going from caller 3 to 1 with a hold time of 3 minutes now I'm caller 5 with a hold time of 2 minutes. My wife's card was cloned 2 weeks ago and I was told they turn it off. I get another charge a week later.(they did credit back the $) today I see yet another char... read more
