This place is one of the worst places to open an account, the first time round they told me something was wrong with my Equifax account. And then the second time around, when I went to open an account they kept me waiting for 30 mins. Absolutely unprofessional place. Horrible experience. And then they again went online to open the account because they couldn't figure out why it declined and they didn't do anything with the number that popped up. I have been a Coast Capital member for 38 years and this branch is by far the worst I have ever experienced. I unfortunately needed to go in physically for a transaction. I went in with a patient and positive attitude but once again faced with complete incompetence. Spent 20 minutes of my time with someone who clearly has not been trained has little communication skills and zero understanding on very basic requests and questions. Doors close way earlier than it says it does people just standing Doing nothing it's definitely profit over people Attitude, definitely not the local branch feeling you'd want to bring your family to. Employees just chatting with other employees, not helping people waiting in line. Worst coast capital I have seen. Would not recommend this place to anyone. I had an extremely disappointing experience at Coast Capital today while inquiring about a line of credit. I believe the manager’s name was Raymond. From the start, the interaction felt dismissive and outdated — as though my financial credibility depended on whether my husband was present.
