Please do not do business with this shop Michelle's Quilts in Hughesville, or the owner Michelle Scordos who owns and operates Quilts N Michelle's Things LLC. I brought in a Kaffe Fassett Hat Quilt kit that was worth $250.00, a signed autographed Kaffe Fassett hardback book, and a hatbox. Long story short, after her many vile and nasty emails, I have no recourse but to let people know. She was doing lessons at the time and I wanted to learn how to put the quilt together. I bought a new BabyLock a few months ago when I ran into a weird problem. I called Michelle and asked her if I could swing by. She said yes and I brought the machine and we sat down and we replicated it. (I couldn't sew a buttonhole!) It turned out after about 10 minutes after trying that foot, that it was the foot itself. I had 3 buttonhole feet, and this one did not come with the machine. Updated: In response to the feedback from the shop. Nowhere in my review was the "race card" ever used. I said nothing about race. My review stated how rude and disrespectful this place is and my point has been proven by the reply I received. I wish there was an option for zero stars. Rude and disrespectful are the perfect descriptors for this place. The owners/staff treat their customers as if WE are disturbing them instead of trying to support their small business.
