Clore furniture has been part of my family since at least 1940 and perhaps longer. Two generations and part of the Third have used and enjoyed the reliably strong and lastingly beautiful tables, chairs of many sorts, dressers, desks, beds that come out of that unassuming Factory in Madison. For my mother, back in the late 1940s, finally being able to buy a walnut dining table was almost a holiday, and during her long life she cooked and served many a fine dinner party using that lovely table and Clore chairs.
