We purchased a used mantle clock from Chris and Dave this time last year. It’s used in a vacation home so its use has been intermittent, but even after a year Chris made good and it works perfectly now. We greatly enjoy visiting their shop and the wonderful customer service we get.
Such a pleasant experience. We're just in town for a couple weeks and a watch I own needs a special tool to remove the backside to replace the battery. I called in to see if they service watches and I was in luck! I showed up a couple hours later. They were able to replace the battery without incedent. Reasonable in price and very friendly. The store itself is really neat. Can tell theyre very knowledgeable in their craft! Thanks again for the help!
Christopher is an incredibly nice guy. He hand-delivered a gear he was repairing for me when he was in our area. He spent a great deal of time helping to ensure all clocks in my home run well. Outstanding professionalism and very fair prices. Thank you so much!
I have used them twice now and both times have been great. This time, I brought in an electric ship clock that my Dad got when he retired from the Navy in 1969. It had been sitting on my parent’s mantle for the past 50 years. The clock’s mechanism was making weird noises and I thought it was on its death bed. They took it, cleaned it up, and even re-did the rigging. The clock is running great and is super quiet. Here’s to its next 50 years.
Christopher came to my home to address issues with my grandfather clock. While he was at my home he also resolved the issues with another three of my clocks. He took the mechanism of the grandfather clock to repair/clean at his shop. Yesterday, Christopher installed my grandfather clock's mechanism and pendulum. Grandfather is working like new.
