We lucked out and saw whales breach
I’ve lived in the area 20 plus years but have never successfully spotted orcas until today! We got this certificate at a charity auction, but I definitely think it would be worth the money for a special trip or for visitors. The ship was very comfortable. The staff were great good food and drink options and a pleasant memorable experience all around. Highly recommend!
We had a nice morning exploring Seattle and the surrounding areas. The crew was friendly, and the boat ride was enjoyable. While we did see whales, it was mostly fins and very small parts of their bodies above the water. During the trip, we were told boats must stay at least 200 yards away from the whales, which also limits how much you can see them. Super easy process to board and go through customs. Great viewing on the trip, even saw an orca.
