Clergy Financial's payroll services are wonderful. The software is user-friendly, and support is great. I appreciate the ability to reach a real person quickly. All support calls have been answered promptly by a knowledgeable and friendly person.

They are always responsive to our questions (even the ones that probably make them roll their eyes) and explain things so we can understand. In my opinion: friendly and knowledgeable staff plagued by internal communication problems that go all the way up to the CEO and undermined my trust in this company. They canceled an appointment urgently with a few hours notice, and when I asked for precise clarity on why, there was no response for 3 days. They made overtures about anticipating additional fees for what turned out to be "not a chargeable item" according to their own staff. Clergy Financial provides really great service, but it can be hard to figure out how exactly to get in touch with the right person, and billing is a little overcomplicated. First you have to purchase the "tax planner" which is just a PDF or online form where you give them all the info they'll need to put your return together.
