They required a $5000 deposit, a year later the attorney had not done a single thing and quit. They never respond, they don’t call you back. They’ll take your money and and run. You’ll have spend months calling and emailing them to get a response. I asked for retainer back since the attorney quit and never did any work on my case. It’s been 3 weeks and no answer back. This is a horrible place to have represent you. They do not respect their clients.
AVOID THIS FIRM! In October 2023, Hoxie was formally reprimanded by the Washington State Bar. If I would have know the past behavior, I would have never hired them. $5,000 to absolutely do nothing, staff are incompetent of communication. Over billing, poor communication, negligence, and documents filed late to the courts. First attorney that took my case left the firm with no communication, until I called 2.5 months later to request a case update.
