My softener from them is only a few years old. I noticed that it was not functioning so the people that I had install it came and contacted you people for warranty replacement and sadly to both our surprises you wanted the headset back in so that you could look at it before you would make any decisions on replacement or repairing. Be very careful when buying product from this company. A little over 5 years ago we bought a duplex softener manufactured from this company. Just last week one of the valves seized up causing the housing to break. My warranty says there is a 7 year warranty on proprietary control valves. They notified me that the valves were not proprietary and thus fell under the 5 year warranty, which just expired this January.
