Welcome to Clear Ear Medical Hearing, the Practice of Troy Mahan, H.A.S. NBC-HIS. Since 1986, Troy Mahan has been providing hearing assistance to people in and around the Jacksonville area. The practice philosophy is to educate patients about their hearing to help them make informed decisions about their rehabilitation. We offer patients the type of service they may not find at franchised outlets. Word-of-mouth referrals have always been the leading factor in the continued growth of our practice.

I can’t say enough about my experience here . Quality is important, sure. But customer service here is top tier . Big Thanks for Forrest as well . He took the time with me and went over everything in detail . Highly recommend!!!!!

Highly recommend. They feel and act like small town service and truly get to know their clients. My Dad has been a customer for years and the expressions of care for him and knowledge about him have been heartwarming.
Here's a revised version of your update: --- After three wonderful years of 5 star service, it was time to update my mom's hearing aids. My mom has GEHA insurance, and I initially tried to go through True Hearing due to cost concerns. However, the doctor recommended another route, which required us to pay all costs upfront—something that was impossible for us to afford. This is a life changing event. I always feel like this is a miracle. I can hear. My children benefit from these miracles . The folks who take care of my needs are Forrest and Brooke.
