Been here twice while I was in town on 2 different trips (skiing and hiking) and had very good, friendly, helpful service. Bought some flies and Tommy told me where to find fish and what he would use in certain water situations. Will be stopping by more this summer to help improve my fly fishing game.
Had an awesome experience here. Was told some amazing spots to check out along Clear Creek, and got help with flies and techniques to use as well. Would highly recommend.
I live in town so I might be a bit biased, but these guys always have great advice regarding where to fish and what flies to use. Great selection of flies at a reasonable price.
Not an outdoors store. This is a store with some sweaters and sneakers. DO NOT STOP HERE FOR ANY TRUE OUTDOOR GEAR NEEDS. Idaho springs is a wash as a whole. The nearest true sporting goods stores are 40 minutes north in Silverthorne. Don’t bother stopping in Idaho Springs for anything.
