I Love It!! – I have both the mobile usb for my laptop and the modem for my home and I ABSOLUTELY love it!! I never have problems with the service..Not sure what is going on in Jacksonville, but I am in Atlanta and the service is Fabulous! Was able to get rid of Comcast and save myself alot of dollars. I hooked the modem into a wireless router and my whole house became a hotspot...Love it and will recommend to anyone!
Just disappointed – I am very disappointed so far with Clear WiMax. I went to a retail outlet at a mall near me and got lots of guarantees about how fast the service was and even saw on a google earth map what the coverage was at my house and it looked awesome. After hooking it up and moving it around to every room in the house, I can barely get 1 bar on the modem and get no signal on the USB mobile antenna. Download speed tests reports 750 KBPS from the modem, not the 6 MBPS I am paying for. It's slower then my cable modem.
Meh. I got it and had it for less than a week before I decided to cancel. I live in close-in SE, and got the top of the line, $40 a month package, which was supposed to be the fastest. But from the beginning, the modem had issues with connectivity - and then once I got a connection, it was sloooow. Websites which are video-heavy, such as YouTube and Hulu, it seems to have problems with loading in under five minutes.
super fast speed – I love the fact that I can check my emails on my way to work. I subscribed to the $80 monthly price. Even if it's a little pricy, the connection and speed is super fast, maybe it's my phone or really just the connection itself . Clear internet service is great!
The easiest I used! – CLEAR is the easiest wireless internet service I’ve ever used! I’m always online and can get things done so much faster than I did with my old wireless internet. Thanks for the great product!
Clear network is not good – Clear is run on the Sprint Network. Sprint's network is poor, so I bet this will be poor as well.
CLEAR is great – Last week I was at the Chicago Westin for a company sales meeting. In room Wi-Fi was $12.95/day which my company does not pay for, then I plugged in my CLEAR Wi-Fi laptop modem, not knowing if they were in Chicago yet...BAM! I was connected.
