I’m just shocked After checking google maps and the Cleanaway website (both saying open) I got turned away after arriving at 5am telling me no hand unloads atm I’m just appalled
Just disgusting. Filthy, hundreds of ibises (bin chickens). You can smell it a mile away. This place is a disgrace. I visit other waste transfer stations regularly and they manage to keep a decent level of housekeeping. I realise it includes putrescible waste but huge piles and filthy aprons are not okay. Lovely staff on the gate though!
Rude and unprofessional with arbitrary rules. Supposedly cardboard is recyclable for free for residence, but because I had a company shirt on I couldn’t dump the cardboard from my house and then I was literally told to get out extremely rude staff.
