As a first time visitor in Astoria, OR, having sailed in from Vancouver, I wanted to use the Lewis and Clark ATM to withdraw some US dollars. This ATM was recommended to me by a local retailer. The ATM rejected the transaction, and additionally charged me USD$3.00 for my efforts. This is an ATM card I have used regularly around the world for years, including in Vancouver merely 7 days ago.
