“I had damaged slats replaced and noticed marks on the new slats that weren’t present on the originals. I contacted the company and was initially advised to remove the pelmet and clean the internal components myself. After explaining that I don’t have the tools or expertise to do that, and providing photos comparing the original and replacement slats, I was then told the marks are normal indentations caused by the operation of aluminium roller shutters and that cleaning wouldn’t prevent or remove them.
