If I could give no stars, I would. Julie gave us an estimate of $475 to repair an antique bureau, secretary and liquor cabinet. We paid up front. She came to the house and started the work, left to get something, and came back. After she left at the end of the day, my wife examined the "work." The liquor cabinet door was glued, but left on the floor unattached. The hinges were supposed to be fixed, but weren't. Julie Painter d/b/a Classic Restorations should get ZERO "stars". WARNING: Julie is a scammer. Here's why I say this: In mid-October of 2021, l brought a desk chair to Julie for repair and recovering in leather (which I supplied at a cost of about $675). She said that she would do the repairs for $550 and promised delivery of the completed chair in early-December. She did not keep her promise.. She then promised to deliver in mid-December. I brought in an antique armoire to be refinished and for some repairs to the hinges. It is one of my favorite pieces of furniture but it needed some serious tlc! I was overjoyed at the job they did. Julie restored it beautifully!! I couldn’t be happier with it. She was able to restore it to its beautiful antique look which was very important to me. Would highly recommend!
