Paul has been working on my bike for over 10 years. I love the store and how it's like a bicycle museum. I also love the new location and their lion cat, Tulio. This is a friendly local family-owned business that I would highly recommend.
Paul, the owner as well as bike mechanic does an excellent job. He is very knowledgeable, his prices are reasonable, he's very honest and he gets it done "right" the first time. His assistant is delightful and I've seen her spend a great deal of time when necessary with novice bike shoppers. It's a small shop and I appreciate that I can talk to the mechanic (eg Paul) who will be doing the work as well as frequently relating directly to me what issues were found. Steve M
We made a spontaneous decision to come over to Bainbridge from Seattle without a plan and found we couldn’t “just rent a bike” to get around. We stumbled upon the Classic Cycle and one of the owners Jamie who helped us feel welcomed and gave us the absolute perfect gift of time to help us get the most out of our brief visit here. We love stumbling upon this kind of hospitality and imagine everyone would be so lucky waking into their bike shop. Thank you Jamie!!

It’s not just that Paul is the best bike wrench anywhere around here. It’s that both he and Jaime are such nice, helpful, chill people who dedicate their time to anyone who walks through their door to just look at bikes, bring one in for repair, or buy some bike accessory. Zero pressure or attitude; all attention to what someone needs or is interested in, in the way of bikes. This is our local neighborhood bike shop with a super knowledgeable bicycle enthusiast who knows bikes inside out.
