Great Service! I had John replace the brake pads and chain and do a clean and adjust on the drivetrain in preparation for a 50k Fat Bike race. John had it done quickly and the bike worked flawlessly.
John is the best. Great bike shop, excellent service, friendly down-home atmosphere. The good ol' days of Steamboat continue to live on at this place.
Old school shop with some classic racing bikes on display (and for sale), electric cruisers, parts galore; and they make repairs... I have an older model Bridgestone bike equipped with a rear-wheel U-brake (Ugh) that needed adjusting. After I bungled the whole operation and was completely stymied I took it in to John and, being the wizard that he is, he had it fixed + adjusted properly in a very reasonable amount of time. My bike now glides and brakes like a dream. Thanks!
John saved the day, fixing my kid’s bike when we had just a few hours to sort out several mechanical issues before his race. Even without a particular part on hand, he researched and found a cross-compatible solution and pulled it off in the nick of time! John, the owner of the shop kept me going without delay in finishing the GDMBR. I had a rear hub failure and John coordinated with a shop in Pinedale, WY who arranged a drop-shipment of an Onyx hub to Classic Crank so my rear wheel could be rebuilt.
