The bastrop branch is the best folks ever. We have been a member for over 10 years and love it. Hate that you took drive thru out with live on site person but now I go inside to see nothing but smiles from staff.
I needed cash for a purchase so I used this bank’s ATM withmy ATM card from another bank and paid the fee. I did not get a choice of the denomination of bills I received. I got all $100 bills. I needed $20’s for one $100. Went inside and was rudely told that unless I had an account with them they would make change for me even though I showed the receipt from their ATM. IMO these guys should be sued for impersonating a bank. I spoke later with several locals who confirmed my opinion.
Opened an account 11/28/25 and will be closing the account this Dec 2025 after only a few weeks of having it. I can’t get into my online account. I created a new profile and it’s coming back linked to someone elses phone number. I can’t access my own money. We will be closing this account and sticking with Wells Fargo. This would never happen with them.
Only downside to doing business here is they are not open on the weekends.
Absolutely have to love small-town banks and the genuine customer service they provide!
