I moved to Missoula to be near my son after cancer and never thought I would find a senior building as great as this. I doubt there is another seniors only building like this anywhere. The Director, Rod Foster, has a staff that goes above and beyond for the residents and that's not hype. It's perfectly located overlooking the Clark Fork River with dozens of diverse restaurants within walking distance plus the library, two movie theatres, three grocery stores and the massive Clark Fork River Market. If the Mandatory Meals aren't up to USDA standards, as determined annually by a registered dietician's certification, and if a medical doctor requests of management in writing a medical exemption because a resident's condition or disability requires a special diet (with diet attached), the resident has a right to the exemption. The money paid to the building owners above the cost of rent for meals they can't eat will then be freed up so that the resident can take control of what and when she eats.
