Worth the trip!
The area around Clarity Tunnel makes for a beautiful bike ride.
We enjoyed seeing the tunnel and the hike to it was nice and relaxing would be perfect for biking. Very quiet no bats this late in the year. Pretty dusty inside. Started at the monks crossing parking area, about 4-5 miles from there, beyond the tunnel the trail is a little more rugged and wild scenery is nice though.

Clarity Tunnel is an amazing structure in beautiful West Texas landscape. As you enter, it has the appearance of a grand cathedral like hallway. The ride to the tunnel via the Cap Rock Canyons Trailway is a smooth easy ride from Monk's Crossing Access. We were a little early for the bats, but the tunnel itself is worth the effort. Riding around The Curve to the Clarity Tunnel is a bonus. There is camping and appeared to be water. Be mindful of the dry heat and the strong West Texas winds.
