Issues such as poor service delivery, staffing shortages, and general mismanagement are not uncommon. However, this community is one that consistently impresses me. Clarendale has been home to my in-laws these last few years. It was a very good transition from living in their home and needing a lot of help. Since my father-in-law has passed away my mother-in-law has been able to enjoy the friendships that she has made there. We are most thankful for First Baptist Church providing a wonderful weekly Bible study for the residents. Friendly environment! Great senior community! And The Best Chocolate Chip cookies in Nashville!
Mom could no longer live alone so we visited 3 different facilities in the area. Clarendale was by far the best choice and I have been absolutely delighted with our experience. Her apartment in independent living is spacious and lovely. The staff are endlessly patient and accommodating. Mom has been in Memory Care for just over a month. The staff are wonderful, nurses are top notch, especially Felicia and Judy, and aids are all very good. The move in was easy, leader Becky told us exactly what to expect and it has all been the case. While it has been a difficult adjustment for the family, Mom is doing well!
