Had jury duty at the Mitchell Courthouse today, the entryway and exit is only on St. Paul Street side. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the building itself is quite beautiful, with marble details and stained colored ceilings. There were quiet stations and charging ports, with the TVs playing movies back to back. There are vending machines for sodas and snacks that take cards. So much better than Towson!
Been here twice for jury duty. It’s not bad. You get $30 - enough to cover lunch and have some change. Not much, but I never complain about a free meal! Pitamore and David and Dads are good lunch options nearby. Beautiful building, but poorly maintained. Restrooms are clean in some rooms, but not in others or will have flickering bulbs.
