Civista handles all of my Banking and Investment needs. Without exception the personnel are friendly, efficient, knowledgeable, communicative, prompt, and and helpful. I have been with this bank (through at least 2 name changes and reorganizations) for over 25 years. I couldn't be happier with a Bank.

This bank is ridiculous, they've held on to my refund since 2/2016 due to a red flag. I've explained why it was flagged and have supplied all the documents. They've told me they're still waiting for a "batch number" from the IRS to return my refund. The IRS has put a trace on it because they can't figure out what the hell the bank is talking about "a batch number", if this refund was flagged, it should have been returned immediately back to the IRS. Check out their BBB complaints, this bank often handles the in between for Tax Refunds, and apparently likes to withhold people's money without notice for months, then explain that they can't update any information regardless of timing and need to send it back to the IRS, with no expected date or further information. Extortion level, far too high.
