Celebrating Mother's Day with my mom and her friends at CityView Retirement Community was truly special last Thursday, May 8th, 2025. This place is supposed to be a care home, but the “care” is severely lacking. If you're the Power of Attorney (POA), don’t expect to be informed about important matters. They completely bypass the POA when making decisions or addressing concerns that should legally and ethically be communicated. Why even ask for a POA if you’re just going to ignore them? This is where you should put Mom & Dad! The last few months I’ve been walking around to get a better feel for this place and I see a common thread. From the top down with Catherine to Jose’s kitchen to Amanda running the activities. Definitely book a tour and you’ll be convinced this is the place for them.
