I had the distinct displeasure of doing business with City Schemes. Sold me a bill of goods and won't back it up. Not an angry disgruntled irrational person here. Multiple emails, phone calls requesting a resolution to my problem. They strung me along and refused to take any responsibility and then insulted me by offering me a nominal credit on any further purchased BEYOND $1000. Nice looking furniture but be warned.

Stay away, don't do business with them. Their philosophy is that the customer is always wrong. How many things are wrong: 1) they overcharged my credit card and refused to refund the incorrect amount 2) partially delivered my order but (over-) charged me for the rest of the order but never delivered it 3) never communicated any status on my order, even after multiple emails and stopping by the store multiple times. Avoid This Business Do not do business with this company. I attempted to purchase a couch here, and was concerned about whether or not they would be able to get it into my apartment (a third floor walk-up). They told me that they would send someone out to check the stairs and make sure, and that if they couldn't fit it, they would refund my money. Great value and selection – I just moved to Boston for a new job. The modern furniture stores here are way over priced, but then I found this beautiful contemporary furniture store in Harvard Square. I got everything I needed, Italsofa, Calligaris dining set and Modloft bed, all within my budget. And Maria is very friendly and knowledgeable. Great experience!
furniture I have spent so much at this store in the past ten years. Had a problem with bureau sliders and received NO HELP. I had to find and purchase the slider on my own, after tons of research. Manager never even spoke to me or assist me. That is not the way to keep a customer. Now, I refer people to Alto Decor, similar furniture, better help and assistance.
High Quality Modern Furniture – They sell beautiful Italian sofas - you should see the Natuzzi sofas. I bought a Natuzzi leather sofa from them and they have a huge variety of colors to choose from. I found one that matches my drapes which are also from Italy. It takes a few months to get the sofa, but it's worth the wait. All my friends love it.
Good experience Bought a very nice shelf system at a very good price and they delivered it and set it up two days later---we couldn't be happier!
