Make sure if the judge dismisses a ticket he writes it down or you get it in writing. The judge failed to write down the dismissed portion of a ticket I got because the police officer was in such a hurry he could not wait for me to pull up my insurance. So he just handed me a ticket. Then I saw the judge who is very nice but he failed to do something as small as write down his dismissal. 7 years later whatever judge is presiding issued a capias warrant for an expired sticker. 7 years! I don't even have the vehicle I was driving at that time anymore. It's just insane. I know it hasn't been a capias warrant the entire 7 years because I have been pulled over a couple of times and had my driver's license run but wasn't given a ticket then right before the holidays bam, capias warrant. I gave two stars because the ladies at the Municipal Court are actually very nice.
