One of the cons of dealing with a credit union is being limited on the amount of cash you can withdraw at a teller window at any given time. With the City of Boston Credit Union the limit is $5,000 per day. Last year, I needed to withdraw $8,000 for the funeral home handling my father's services. I have found this branch to be friendly and helpful. Indy has been especially good at helping us set things up and solve issues.
I've been apart of the City of Boston credit union for eight Yrs. Overall my experience has been good, However I recently went into the West Roxbury branch and was treated awful by the Bank Manager by the name of love and She did it in the presence of my Daughter.
AWFUL ATTITUDE! Why on earth should i trust you with my money if you don't even want to be at you own job! SO NASTY! The teller at the first desk with short light brown hair is so rude. She constantly has her "next teller please" sign up (there are never any tellers) and will sit there on her phone! Dont dare ask for a pen during her paid hours of social media scrolling.. she'll roll her eyes and scoff at you! maybe if someone there would answer the phone I wouldn't need to come in person.
