Do not go to this bank unless you have to if you’re in need of a second chance bank. The fees are ridiculous. If you have your card lock and a charge tried to go through like a subscription it charges you $1.00 every time it declines
I’ve had this bank for several years but through the years I haven’t been too satisfied. Too many fees, overdrafts over $5, ATM is always down, and branches are too far apart, or you have to go into a Walmart. Customer service says one thing and then that’s not the case. I’ve gotten told 3 different things from the phone call, bank app chat, and a second phone call. As soon as my account is at $0 I am closing my account and not returning! EVER. I’ve already changed my direct deposit information!
I can only speak for myself & from my own experience. Walked in today with my first check from a new employer, and Walmart that this bank is located within couldn’t cash it due to last name on my license being my married last name, even though I have a divorce decree changing it back to my maiden name…this check is going to help me change that on my license at the tag agency, but I have to have the funds first. Went to change $600 in twenties for all $100 bills, the lady said she can only do $100 worth unless I have an account for security reasons? I'm not sure what security reasons mean? When they literally have everything available at a bank to detect counterfeit money? Since when can a bank not do money related things? If I open an account it somehow takes away the security part?
