DO NOT BANK HERE!!! As much as I want to support our own, they lack the necessary protections that other mainstream banks offer. For example, I have to come into the branch where I opened my account to get a new card and file a claim against fraudulent transactions. In addition, when talking to a bank representative, I was on speakerphone being asked for identifying and sensitive information!! I was told the reason is the cord from the phone does not reach over! Great black owned bank, very warm and friendly staff. I love visiting this location.
Horrible bank. I tried so hard to support the black bank but they were unsuccessful in helping me. Here are some of the problems I encountered. 1- customer support is limited (only certain hours 9-5 and no weekends) 2- They don’t allow you to increase your amount taken out at atm 3- when I called corporate office, it directed me to leave a message ( I had to call several times to get a live person) 4- when I’ve gone to bank, I’ve had to wait a while before a teller even came to the front. 5- I’ve had difficulty on several oc... read more
