If you stay at National Harbor Marina viaboat be prepared to be significantly rocked every time the water taxi leaves and returns. The wake it creates is ridiculous and most likely illegal.
Sold us tickets for a route that did not exist and left us stranded in the opposite direction. The website did not indicate that the last taxi from Alexandria to National Harbor was at 730 pm. So when I followed my ticket which I purchased on the city cruises website it was a route that did not exist. We were left in the wrong city with the staff looking at us like they were as confused as we were. The staff were very nice, as and the ride was smooth. There is a cabin that has air conditioning, and there is a deck.
