I've banked here for years (about 11 to be exact) and lately they have been terrible. I really don't recommend banking here, and to just go elsewhere. One day, I noticed fraud on my card and immediately let them know about it. They marked it as fraud and said the transactions shouldn't go through, but they did. It overdrafted my account and I got charged for that, and didn't have any money to spend for almost 2 weeks because they let the fraud charges go through and it "takes 10+ days for the fraud charges to be looked at". ... read more
Terrible member service, never in office, hours long wait to even talk to a real person. They do not value members . Gone in 3x to try and get a bank statement. Shoreview location the worst. Just standing in there unhelpful

I recently had a deeply disappointing and frustrating experience with City and County Credit Union. After receiving initial approval for a loan, and about to sign the agreement. I was later informed that my application would be denied due to my immigration status, despite my strong credit history. This was not only unexpected but also discriminatory. Took months just to get my referral bonus. The communication with them is not even a professional level. Seems like they don’t know much about the bank itself and making stuff up just to satisfy the customer. Always seem to be in a rush to do other things behind the room or be at their designated place and be on their phone. I also did the atm fee reimbursement and was told I’ll get $15 but, I got $5 instead. Overall of this experience at this bank is disappointing. Failed at keeping their words.
