This company lost my dog and kept him in his own crap for over 5 days. Driver lost my dog. Will never get him back. Company is not and will not take responsibility or help. Driver left saying ‘not liable, not my issue’ after losing my rescue.
BUYER BEWARE When you contact this company you will get offers from various transport companies. When you decline an offer some of these drives will offer a side deal that cuts out Citizen and their $120 our giving you a better price. I actually took one of these offers and lost $250. Apparently Citizen doesn't research their drivers. Date of experience: June 07, 2023
This company is scam, they charged me $780 for transporting a dog I had brought from someone from Facebook that also took my $250 for the dog. Then, they asked for another refundable insurance until I realized how suspicious it was. They have no heart, I saved money to buy myself puppy and they just took all my money, after working so hard for it. They take advantage of poor people who try to make this world more trustworthy, they should go to jail and give all that money back. Don't fall for it, I lost over $1000.
The most terrible site to trust anything with they are rude and not very supportive with you trust the site background check they are in no way real it can be a fake person like the people that stole my dogs and attempted to give them back if sent additional money love not seen my dogs now nor heard anything about anything from citizen shipper only threats they will remove me from platform and tell me that I should have documented everything conversations with shippers no help whatsoever 🥲
HORRIBLE experience. I used Citizen shipper to find a pet transporter from Phoenix to Chicago that I thought would be thoroughly background checked, safe and an experienced pet handler. Citizenshipper does not vet the shippers. I was scammed for $350 after booking through citizenshipper to have my dog driven across country. they refuse to refund.
