False Advertising... Website shows a new CD with a rate of 5.65% APY, but there is no disclaimer it is only valid for current bank customers. Is this illegal?
Very disappointed. I have been banking with this bank for two years with a trust for my brother. They have a great CD rate available. I was told these rates are only available for current customers. I told them I have two accounts and was unclear why that should matter. I was told the rates were made available to the public and the owners decided to change that to customers that the bank could have a personal relationship with. It appears CNB worked out the problems of my earlier situation. Nice to have cared to call and handle the situation.
The staff are friendly and patient, we were not even customers and they cashed our savings bonds. I'd consider making them my local bank.
