We are approaching age 30 and we are visiting out of town. They took my friend’s Id for an event 18+. It was disappointing as we spend $40 on event tickets and had trouble getting in and they kept his ID and was withholding it although we were older than the requirement age to get in.
Coat check is card only and requires a face photo and your phone number. No exceptions, no ToS. Can’t get back in from coat check without a digital ticket either, so if it’s on your friend’s phone from a group buy you’re out of luck. The venue has good visibility once you’re in and easy access to the bar, though, which you might need after an ordeal like the one my friends & I had. I’ve had much better experiences at the Sinclair and Big Night Live.
