Every community needs a locally owned Bank. We recognized this need in the Woodford County community and opened Citizens Commerce in 1996. We expanded into Franklin County in 2007, Jessamine County in 2009 and Fayette County in 2018. As we have grown, we always remember one of our greatest strengths is our ability to do business with people we know and to make decisions locally. Always helpful and kind quick all around amazing bank
Small Bank with Big bank antics!
I am terribly displeased with the service I have received with this bank. They were very nice when I opened the account. However I was VERY adamant about not wanting overdrafts and I signed for no overdrafts but apparently getting a debit card opted me in for overdrafts and I was not told about this. So I ended up in a bit of debt that in all reality considering my financial situation I couldn't afford.
