My personal experience with this branch. I called on 10/2024 to make a cash withdrawal for 26k. They told me they don’t have any money. They need to order the money but they can only order 12k and that i had to wait until next week to get the money. Bottom line is that if you need some cash don’t waist your time on this branch.
This bank frequently has issues allowing people to withdraw their money. I would use one of the other 5 banks conveniently located on Park Ave in scotch plains. Wells Fargo across the street, PNC down across from Stagehouse, Bank of America diagonally from PNC, Chase which is two doors down from BOFA or TD bank which is on the corner of park and mountain. So many options, do yourself a big favor and close your Citizens account.
Had a 9:30 appointment for closing and at 9:40 was told the manger isn’t here I will have to wait. There are so many banks in scotch plains please do yourself a favor and avoid this one.
