One of the worst experiences I've ever had with a bank! I was mailed a promotional letter and it stated that I could open a checking account with a $25.00 deposit and after three months of monthly deposits, the bank would deposit a bonus of $200.00 into my account. I carefully went over all the stipulations with a bank account manager. After I made the initial deposit, I deposited an additional $300.00 and another $500.00 and at that time I inquired about the bonus that was supposed to be deposited into my account. This is a lousy bank that charges as many fees as it can, even to the extent of using accounting trickery to do so. For example, they will reorder your withdrawals in order to charge you three overdraft fees instead of one (that's what they did to me). It is better to bank with a credit union or a small bank that actually cares about its customers.

If you were more concerned with you customers and not with the money from these darn ads, your customers may be able to find your hours. How common is that to post your hours along with your location and phone yet you people can't figure that out. Another great service of Citizens Bank not!
Citizens Bank is about as far from being an upstanding/ethical member of the community as I can possibly imagine, at this point. They/it charged me $74.00 for covering just $11.21 in debit card charges -- that's a whopping 660% interest rate (over the 24 hours it took for me to notice and deposit some additional funds into my account). I'll let that 660% figure speak for itself.
The manager at the Stop and Shop Citizens Bank is an excellent asset to the company. His attitude is positive. He is customer oriented, kind, and listens thoroughly to the person he is engaged with. I was pleasantly surprised to have been given such lovely service, even in the midst of a relatively poor city, such as Fall River. I live in Tiverton, which is a border city. Thank you for the convenient one-stop shopping! Satisfied customer.
