Even if you have permanently relocated across the world, this Citizens branch will refuse to help you unless you spend thousands on a plane ticket to be there in person. Alternatively, I can desperately reach out to anyone I know in the area to give them POA to appear for me. However, this arguably feels MUCH LESS secure overall than if they just let me access my own money in the first place. I offered to send a lawyer and the manager did not seem to like that very much.

I cannot say enough good things about Jenna, the Branch Manager at the Dartmouth Citizens Bank. After my father passed away, I became responsible for handling his estate, including selling his home. What should have been a straightforward process turned into weeks of frustration.
