Im black my father is white. Dad wrote me a check out for a car our names on it our last names the same I don’t bank with citizens I have Wells Fargo so I went to the bank he has which is citizens the lady took my ID and the check and she goes Itll be $7 to cash I said ok that’s fine two seconds later she goes I’m sorry I can’t at this time I asked why she said ask my dad they froze his whole account and flagged the check fraudulent.
I made a trip to the DMV to get my Real ID. I had all of the documents I needed (or so I thought) and was given a number to wait to see a representative. Once I made it to her counter, she informed me that since I was making changing my middle name to my maiden name, I needed 2 additional forms of identification with my new name on it. Don’t go very often but every time the staff is friendly and tge drive thru is efficient and the atm always works .
