This is likely true with all banks, but regardless....if you want to try to move money out of the bank, they do not make it easy. I've been sitting here for about an hour just to close a savings account....while the employee is watching people walk on the street outside.
Was greeted and acknowledged as soon as I entered by Salisha, the branch manager. She was seated at the first office, and was very cordial and professional. I wanted to learn about home equity, and she immediately made time for me and helped me with applying. I had visited another bank, and they told me I would need to make an appointment. I have to say it was extraordinary service for a bank. Highly recommend Salisha for anyone needing banking help, especially with a HELOC.
I went there to cash a check drawn off the same bank . They told me I could not cash it because they could not verify it and I'll will be there "forever" while they verified it.. Why could not they call and verify it.?? I believe I was discriminated against because I am Asian.
I felt discriminated against this particular office. I drove two hours to open an business account for my LLC business. I was so excited to start this new chapter in my life. Immediately I was asked for a particular form, which I told them I had it in my phone which I can send and print it out. They wouldn't allow me to show them on my phone.
