This reviews service at HSBC following its late 2020/early 2021 decision to close most of its U.S. retail branches. Service has deteriorated tremendously, many experienced personnel have departed and fees have increased. This is extremely sad to see, as service had been very strong previously. As of late 2021, HSBC has announced that it is merging with Citizens Bank. I hope that service improves for those HSBC patrons who remain. Worst ever customer service of the asian man in there was disgusting the lady with blonde hair doesnt even speak english enough to have the attitude that she exhibited but asked to copy my check to understand an issue they claimed to be having all day with not being able to cash checks because they cant verify them so the blonde haired lady told me to verify my check stating it could be fake when then check came from their exact bank then claimed she didnt say that just that she cant show me her computer but she is going to ... read more
