I have been around at night with Gildo last week. It was fantastic! Although I know, how to use my camera, I would feel uncomfortable walking through NYC at night alone with all the expensive equipment, trying to find good spots for night photography. Also as a short time visitor I simply don't have enough time to find the sweet spots. Très décevant tant sur le parcours qui ne respecte pas ce qui était prévu que par la pédagogie (inexistante) de l'intervenant. De plus le tout a duré à peine 2 heures. Bref je ne conseille pas du tout.

If you want creative ideas and some instruction, the Landmarks tour is good. No history and only a few landmark buildings were included and a lot of street photography. Ciro was a pleasant guide.

I was visiting NYC for the first time and wanted a different way to see the city. I bought a DSLR many years ago and fooled around with the basics, but really wanted to capture some great images so I decided to look at photo tours.
