Citi bank online banking through bill pay screwed up my payment for $10,000 to a line of credit at another bank. This happened in 2020. I was living in Italy. A few months ago I received a letter at an address where I have not lived for over 5 years. Telling me that if I did not contact the bank by a certain date which had already passed, they would turn the uncashed cheque over to the State Controller.
