I have been a longtime customer of Citibank and do a majority of my banking with their institution. I walked in 20mins before closing to open a simple checking for an ILIT. I was turned away. I understand we all have bad days and perhaps my request was unreasonable with the bank closing. Regardless, Lydia Wu’s customer service was alarming and distasteful. It was by far my worst experience ever in any Citibank branch in the past 8yrs.
