Tried to file a Citibank Extended Warranty claim on Oct 27, 2025, and it was impossible. Waited over 35 mins on hold, requested a callback, then was transferred and disconnected after 20 mins. The website gave an error saying to call instead. It feels like Citibank advertises this benefit but makes it unusable. Very disappointed in the lack of accessibility and support for a service they promote heavily.
Avoid Citi Bank at all costs. I have a Tractor Supply card through them and my experience has been nothing but terrible, mainly because of customer service. If you call, your call either drops or you sit on hold for a while. My secure messaging portal online always seems to be unavailable. Citi Thank You Mastercard charges 30% interest to long time customers. They also show an amount due, you pay it and then they come back and change the amount due and levy a late charge. One then has to call them to get the late charge removed. This bank is ethically challenged and i will never use them again.
