In July 22 afternoon, I visited CITI bank office at 1107 Broadway, New York, NY, 10010, for closing checking account. Before that I already visited this office and consulted what documents needed. And they told me, I should take passport and the debit card. Jennifer Bauta helped me, she just told me to insert the card to the machine. Did not check my ID , did not ask how to return my balance as check or cash, just gave me cash and most are $100 bills. Closed my safe box two years ago, they stil keep charging me and the ONLY solution for closing it they offer is coming to this branch. Not sure these folks have heard of email or digital.
