Absolutely unbelievable experience at Citibank. I walked in at 3:01 PM on a Thursday, and the bank doesn’t even close until 5 PM. The place was completely empty. No customers, not one. Two tellers standing around, no lines, no activity, nothing. So naturally, you’d think this would be the perfect time to open a simple checking account, right? Wrong. Absolutely the worst banking institution ive came accross closed my acct claiming the check i was given was fraud i tild the people who wrote it and they took me to their bank and i was able to get the money owed to me no problem.your trash citi bank
Went in for a simple name change. Now my disabled daughter account is blocked. The person who helped me with the name change completely changed the account and now the account won't accept a direct deposit from her disability. This is why there are disabled people that are homeless. They have no one to advocate for them. This mess is going to take months to fix. Trying to get a real person on the phone is like pulling teeth.
