I accompanied my grandma to this bank today for some bills exchange. As an observer, I found the experience surprisingly impersonal. The teller only said “welcome” at the beginning and “thank you, have a nice day” at the end. There was no effort to address my grandma by name or make the interaction feel warm or personal. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! I spoke with someone named Eunice, and her telephone manner was unacceptable. I called Citibank customer service, and they told me that all I needed to do was ask for my account number and send the report to the back office. This should have resolved everything! As a suggestion for future interactions, please refrain from shouting on the phone and, instead, listen to the customer first. My experience was very disappointing, and I will definitely not be opening an account here.
