Terrible customer service. Do not come to this bank. One letter was spelled wrong on a check I needed to deposit even though it had all the correct information, address etc.. the teller denied it and pressured me to change my last name. Goto the one in Pelham Manor, even the one in Bay Plaza where they treat people with respect.

Extremely disappointing experience. I was refused help with depositing a check due to one incorrect initial, despite providing full identification and all other details matching. The teller would not attempt an override, offered no reasonable solution and instead pressured me to change my name on the account. There was no effort to assist, escalate, or apply common-sense discretion. First of all I want to say I despise Citibank with every iota of cells in my body due to them closing my account without my knowledge because I wanted to withdraw a large sum of MY money and then telling me I needed to wait 30-60 days for them to mail me a check. Needless to say I closed the account; however I gave this location 5 stars due to 2 stand out employees who understood me, were professional, and went out of their way to help me so I believe they are essential assets to this company and Citibank should be thanking ... read more

The tellers get 5 stars. They're lovely, helpful and efficient, despite usually being understaffed. The service/platform segment leaves much to be desired. Right now I'm one of 4 people waiting for even an acknowledgment. 2 service people have been in one office studying a screen in earnest conversation for the 10 min I've been here. One guy just emerged from safe deposit. Another woman is untangling something complicated with another customer. I would like to give this more stars because of 1 particular person who helped me out today. I was there 3 days ago requesting copies of my checks, at first they told me the system was down and to call customer services. Customer service then told me i would receive copies of my checks within 24/48 hours. I went back to Citibank and told them i have not received anything yet and that i needed them urgently.
